SHS Reunion
A reunion for those who attended Sisters High School in the '40s, '50s and '60s will be held this weekend with a dinner at Brand 33 at Aspen Lakes on Saturday, August 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. ($20 per person) and a potluck picnic on Sunday, August 3 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on the lawn at Sisters High School (please bring a dish to share). Country Fair & Art Show
The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration will host its 19th Annual Country Fair & Art Show with artists' reception and silent auction Friday, August 8, 5 to 8 p.m.; the Country Fair and art show continues Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Funds raised go to various Sisters community support agencies. Metolius River Walk
Look for resident birds and flowers along the Metolius River on Saturday, August 2 on a walk from the Camp Sherman Store to the headwaters with Madeleine Landis and Friends of the Metolius. Stars Over Sisters Star Party
Learn about the night skies! Stargazers are invited to gather at the Sisters Park & Recreation District building on Friday, August 29 at 8 p.m. for a presentation and slide show. SHS Sports Deadlines
All Sisters High School athletes must be cleared with physicals, fees, fines and paperwork before practice starts Monday, August 18. Doggie Dash & Stroll
The Sisters Doggie Dash & Stroll takes place Saturday, August 16 from 9 a.m. to noon. Come with or without a pooch!
