Trail ride to leave horses missing something

Photographer honored in international competition
Sisters photographer H. Tom Davis has received prestigious second-place honors in the category Fine Art in the Prix de la Photographie Paris (Px3) for his entry entitled "Ice Abstracts." The jury selected PX3 2014's winners from thousands of photography entries from more than 85 countries.

Quilters' show 'A Natural Affinity'
Two quilters were asked to describe their quilting style in one word. Wendy Hill quickly responded, "eclectic." Pat Pease had to think on it a while before she came up with, "contemporary." Ten quilts by the two friends comprise an exhibit called "A Natural Affinity," in the community room of the Sisters Library.
