Bill & Carol Griffin were honored by their children with a 60th wedding anniversary celebration at Aspen Lakes Golf Club in Sisters. High school sweethearts, they married in Richland, WA on November 3, 1956. They have two sons, Scott and his wife Marie, and Cory and his wife Jennifer, and four grandchildren including twin grandsons Chase and Casey, and granddaughters Lauren and Brooke. After retirement in 1998 they moved to Sisters. Bill coached Outlaws pitchers for a season, and they fell into the rodeo and horse-riding culture. The couple enjoys spending time with family and friends, and during years of traveling together have laid a strong foundation of respect and communication.
