THE BYRAMS

To honor and celebrate 70 years of marriage, Charles and Shirley Byram's five children hosted a family reunion June 9-12 at their daughter and son-in-law's home in Crane, Oregon. In attendance were their children, Linda Pelter from Salem, Oregon, Nancy Rank (and husband Jerry) from Crane, Oregon, Jenelle Byram-Scott from Prescott, Arizona, Sheryl Ascherl from Maupin, Oregon and Thomas Byram (and wife Malyne) from Hillsboro, Oregon. Also attending were several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Through the intervening years, Charles and Shirley spent time in Portland where Charles was a building contractor and Shirley a housewife. In 1973 they moved to Silverton, Oregon where Shirley worked at the Silverton Hospital in the OB department until her retirement. They lived in Silverton for 40 years then moved to Sisters, Oregon, where they currently reside. They have traveled to many places during the past 70 years: China, Germany, Rome, Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska, Fiji and the Philippines, just to name a few.

Corinthians 13:13: So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three, but the greatest of these is love. Charles and Shirley have raised their children in the Seventh Day Adventist church and have shown love, joy, and adventures throughout these years. May you have many more years ahead of you with many more memories.
