Ian Richard Adler, son of Marcy Edwards and David Adler, and Monique Belle McKenzie, daughter of Cathy and Dan McKenzie, were married on August 31, 2014, in a lovely traditional ceremony officiated by Rabbi Johanna Hershenson of Bend. The wedding was held on the groom's parents' property in Indian Ford meadow with a delightfully clear view of Mt. Jefferson in the distance. The Rabbi and most of those attending wore cowboy boots. The ceremony was followed by a dinner and lively reception on location. Ian Adler is a 2004 graduate of Wilsonville High School and a 2010 graduate of OSU with a degree in Forestry and a Focus in Natural Resources. Monique McKenzie is a 2008 graduate of Wallowa High School and a 2013 graduate of OSU with a degree in Natural Resources and a Focus in Range Land. Both are seasonal employees of the U.S. forest Service. Ian and Monique met while working in the Eagle Cap & Hells Canyon Wilderness Areas.
