Springsteen tribute band on tap in Sisters

It’s going down at Hardtail’s with Lucky Town’s Tribute to the Boss. The hungry and the hunted explode into rock ‘n’ roll bands that face off against each other out in the street — Down in Jungleland.

The midnight gang’s assembled and picked a rendezvous for the night; they’ll meet beneath that Hardtails Bar & Grill sign that brings this city light. The Midnight Rat and the barefoot girl — and all the other Springsteen fans in Sisters — will take a stab at romance on Saturday, July 6.

Lucky Town, Portland’s Bruce Springsteen tribute band will take the stage at 8 p.m. at Hardtails. The band pays tribute to The Boss. Bruce Springsteen has sold more than 135 million records worldwide and more than 64 million records in the United States, making him one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time.

He has earned numerous awards for his work, including 20 Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, a Tony Award (for “Springsteen on Broadway”) as well as being inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 1999.

In 2009, Springsteen was a Kennedy Center Honors recipient, in 2013 was named MusiCares person of the year, and in 2016 was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The Boss is known for his high-energy shows, and Lucky Town delivers, with hits from every decade of Bruce’s distinguished career. Each musician in the band has a minimum of 25 years of professional experience in the music industry locally and throughout the United States.
