• Kay Nelson of The Elder Sister Antiques located on Hood Avenue directly across from Sisters Post Office will host her end-of-season sale September 21, 22, 23 and 25 (NOT Saturday, September 24).

She is closing the shop for the winter.

• Navigator News will host the traditional bluegrass band Log Jammers on September 24, from 4 to 7 p.m.

• The Substitutes will perform live at Coyote Creek Café this Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24.

• Cascade Fitness is offering a special student membership for $40 per month.

• The Fly Fisher’s Place is now taking reservations for fishing trips to Chile.

• Sisters Coffee Company will be offering homemade soups for the coming chilly months.

• The Barclay Gallery announced the arrival of several new pieces of artwork by Oregon artist Georganne White.

The Barclay Gallery is located at 170 W. Cascade Ave.

• Sisters Hometown Realty welcomes Sharon Mooney, a licensed real estate agent since 1995.
