The JV boys' basketball team went .500 for their season with eight wins and eight losses. The team improved from an overall 1-12 record from last season.

Making up the roster for the team were: Barclay Moon (point guard); Levi Rowe (point guard, wing); Lee Elder (wing); Aaron Fegenbush (wing); Ross Cristiano (wing); Jordan Tandy (post); Ryan Burbank (post); Tyler Miller (post); and Kevin Wistrom (post).

Moon was the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the season, the team captain and also led the team in assists. Rowe and Miller were selected as Most Valuable Offensive Players.

Moon, Rowe and Miller were the leading scorers for the Outlaws. Miller was the top rebounder and a dominant post player.

Coach Jesse McFarland felt his players had a very successful season and had words of praise for his entire team.

McFarland told The Nugget that the point guards did a great job of running the team and helping others around them improve. They were very unselfish players and a huge part of the post players overall improvement.

The wings were very reliable defenders and when needed were all able to play multiple positions.

McFarland said that the posts all have a lot of potential due to their size, and they improved tremendously throughout the season.

"They became dominant and learned to use their size as an asset," said McFarland.
