• Pixie Dust Cottage is celebrating it's Grand Opening on Saturday, March 31, at 10 a.m. with an old-fashioned ribbon cutting ceremony.

The children's boutique is a vision of the owner Sue Thornton and located next to Clearwater Gallery in the blue cottage at 371 W. Cascade. She will be carrying vintage baby items, apparel, toys, books and candy for the little ones. Kids are welcome and will enjoy the bubble machine Sue has brought in for the event.

• The second new business in Sisters this weekend with a Grand Opening event is T&T Pizzeria and Italian Deli at 352 E. Hood Ave. (in the former Figaro's location). Their Grand Opening event will be taking place on Sunday, April 1, from noon to 2 p.m. Twins Taylor and Tamara Andresen and their mom, Libby, invite folks in Sisters to come have lunch on them with free food and Pepsi. Live music will be provided by Doug Williams.

• April art classes are being offered by The Barclay Gallery. Scheduled for Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., "Visualizing Shapes in Watercolor" will be taught by Karen E. Lewis.

Local artist Paul Alan Bennett will be teaching a class called "Paint BIG with Paul!" on Monday, April 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. No experience is necessary, but advanced registration is required. Call 549-1050 or visit [email protected] for more information.

• Out West Designs will hold classes in "Basics in Wire Wrapping & Finishing Techniques" on Wednesday, April 4 and Thursday, April 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 103 B Hood Ave. Call Gary and Nancy at 549-1140 for more information.
