School district announces death of superintendent's husband

The Sisters School District today announced the the unexpected death of Nick Drakulich late Wednesday night in Portland. Nick is the husband of Elaine Drakulich, Superintendent of the Sisters School District.
He died to complications from cancer treatments.
SuperintendentDrakulich has directed Margaret Bates, Director of Special Programs, to handle her district responsibilities in her absence. Further information will be posted on the Sisters School District website (www.sisters.k12.or.us) as it becomes available.
