Sisters Sheriff's calls

- A woman reported her car stolen from a motel parking lot. The keys were left in it and it had a full tank of gas. But whoever took it didn't go too far; it was recovered the same day.
- Two pedestrians reported being chased by dogs.
- A youth at a boys' home near Sisters was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a staff member and resisted arrest.
- A Sisters man was arrested after he admitted that he violated a restraining order.
- A Sisters resident reported that she heard a tap, tap, tapping on the bedroom window and a voice saying "Get Out!" She also noted two hang-up calls. Deputies found no footprints around the house.
- Deputies placed a Eugene woman visiting Sisters on a police officer hold. The woman was reportedly having family troubles and was considered potentially dangerous to herself.
- A woman reported a man harassing her and accusing her of stealing his property. The couple is apparently under investigation by Bend Police on a domestic beef. A deputy attempted to contact the man, but found he was in jail on another matter.
- Deputies used spike strips to stop a fugitive driver from Madras on Wilt Road.
The man was arrested after a short chase on foot.
