Sisters Public Works crews will be working to clear mounds of snow away from storm drains through the weekend.

Public Works Director Paul Bertagna told The Nugget that the City has opened up the old ODOT yards and will begin trucking snow to the site for disposal. He noted that the project will open up some parking areas that are currently blocked, though the purpose and focus is on clearing the storm drains.

Bertagna also said that road graders will be working on smoothing out streets in the City of Sisters.
