Local endurance runner Sean Meissner tripled that feat, running marathons on three successive days to win the Lake Tahoe Triple event for the third year in a row on October 9-11. Meissner ran 3:08, 3:08, and 3:12 respectively on the course that circumnavigates Lake Tahoe -- over 78 miles at elevations ranging up to 7,000 feet.     Anyone who has ever moved from one address to another can understand why Sisters School District facilities manager Bob Martin had concerns about getting everything transported from the former middle and high schools to the new locations this summer. He finished his first 100-mile race at last week's Bighorn Trail Wild and Scenic Run in Wyoming. Yes, that's 100 miles -- as in the distance from Sisters to downtown Eugene.     Commencement marked the final chapter of high school life for 119 graduates Friday, June 6, at the Sisters High School gymnasium. The ceremony included many indicators of change, from the departure of pPrincipal Boyd Keyser to the fact that it would be the last graduation held in the current high school gym.     Amy Cretsinger won the triple jump and finished second in both the long jump and 300-meter hurdles to lead the Outlaw girls track team to fourth place at the OSAA 3A Track and Field Championships. Sisters scored 34 points behind The Dalles (65), Philomath (53), and Cascade (49). Cretsinger accounted for 27 of the Outlaws' points.     Watercolor artist Winnie Givot returned recently to Sisters after a sojourn to the majestic Yosemite National Park in California. She headed south on March 27 with the intention of painting in the park for a total of 10 days, but Mother Nature had different ideas.     Four Sisters High School seniors got a financial boost for their futures after sharing a total of $6,000 in the first annual Rotary Professional Technical contest. A panel of five judges selected Ben Scharf as the first place winner based upon his presentation of piano and guitar music before a luncheon group of about 35 Rotarians. Sixty-five fourth graders, three teachers, a musician, and 25 parents embarked on the annual three-day Oregon History Field trip Wednesday, May 29, from Sisters Elementary School.
