    You all need to remember that the citizens of Sisters elected you to represent those of us who live in Sisters, not big builders that hit and run, not having to live with the consequences. The previous administration allowed Hayden and others to violate codes and agreements. Who approved Sisters Woodlands? Who approved the ugly green fence?   • City did not protect homeowners

    The Sisters City Council at the May 15 meeting, encouraged by certain staff members and based on facts that were not entirely accurate, approved to make Williamson and Hill connecting streets from the new Hayden development at McKenzie Meadows Village. These roads will connect through the Village at Cold Springs, continuing through the new Village at Cold Springs East and continuing on to Rail Way.   • Disappointed in planning commission

    The planning commission meeting last week was very disappointing. Watching the planning commission working on the new Hayden development, McKenzie Meadows Village, was painful. I want to thank Jack Nagel for all his efforts to make the other commissioners understand the need for the gates. Jack understood the need for the safety and the fact that our streets are too small for a main thoroughfare. Unfortunately, his comments fell on deaf ears.
