A very tiny brown and black female puppy was surrendered at BrightSide Animal Center in Redmond a couple of weeks ago after a man had found the little rottweiler mix for sale in an ad on Craigslist. He purchased the four-week-old puppy for his girlfriend, but she decided against it. The puppy had a severe eye infection upon arrival and was looked at by a veterinarian. Sisters Christian Academy enthusiastically adopted 2-year-old Mason Fronk as their "sparrow" during an assembly on Wednesday, February 4. The students were overjoyed and ready to rally for Mason by doing community service to raise funds to help with the child's ongoing medical expenses. Lola Bean, a 4-year-old English bulldog who has gained fame in numerous walks for charity causes, has recently had major surgery for ACL tears in both legs. Giovanna Medola, a native of Atibaia, Brazil, dreamed of being an exchange student for years. After signing up with the foreign exchange program, taking tests and filling out forms, she finally got the opportunity to be able to meet kids from a different culture.
