    Voters firmly rejected the Sisters School District's request for $14.5 million in bond funding for facilities repair and maintenance and technology purchases. The measure went down in the November 4 election by a margin of 56 percent to 44 percent. On the Wednesday after the election, the school board surveyed the aftermath and reflected on possible next steps.   • City election seats one new councilor

    The election for Sisters City Council on November 4 unseated incumbent mayor Brad Boyd and returned two incumbents. Newcomer Nancy Connolly was the top vote-getter and will serve for four years. Councilor David Asson was re-elected to a four-year term; incumbent Councilor Wendy Holzman won a two-year stint. Current planning commissioner Bob Wright also ran.
