The girls tennis squad battled through cold weather and snow flurries to earn a 7-1 victory over Summit on Thursday, March 20. Sara Brown (No. 1 singles) defeated Laura Berthad 6-4, 7-5, and No. 2 singles player, Bethany Backman easily defeated Fionna McFarland 6-4, 6-2. Maddie Green (No. 3) earned a 6-4, 6-2 win over Sophia Loy. The doubles teams swept the competition in their matches. Ashlee Garau and Marissa Tosello (No. 1 doubles) defeated Amy Geibert and Sierra Sullivan 6-3, 6-3. The duo played an outstanding game.... Full story
