    The boys' baseball team swept Mountain View (MV) on Saturday, April 7 with final scores of 9-4 and 12-7. Jarred Hasskamp provided the highlights of the first game. Hasskamp led off in the first inning with his first career home run. Hasskamp went 3-4 with a homerun and a double and batted in three runs for Sisters. Nate Jackson went 2-4 with a double and a RBI.     Ten Sisters High School students, chaperoned by German teacher Isolde Hedemark and parent Pattie Little, spent the greater part of this year's spring break traveling from Great Britain to France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany.     A group of women artists is forming a working art studio in Sisters where they can join one another in creating artwork in each of their respective mediums.   • Girls' golf team notches win, boys place second

    The girls' golf team defeated Cottage Grove by 79 strokes to win the golf tournament at Middlefield on Tuesday, April 3. The Lady Outlaws finished with a team score of 346, and Cottage Grove (CG) was runner up with 425. La Pine placed third just three strokes back from CG at 428. Marist, Sweet Home and Creswell all had incomplete teams. Lindsay Reeve of Sisters was the tournament medalist with scores of 35-41-76.     Sisters High School (SHS) music students gave a breath of freshness to all who attended their annual Spring Concert last Wednesday evening. The band members and choral students did far more than perform. They entertained with twinkles in their eyes and a depth of musicality that far exceeded their years and experience.   • Tickets still available for Starry Nights

    A limited number of reserved general admission tickets are still available for "An Evening With Gary Morris" on Saturday, April 28. The concert is the opening show for this season's Sisters Starry Nights Benefit Concert Series. In addition, just a handful of tickets remain for "A Songwriters Evening With Vince Gill and Friends" shows on Friday, May 18, and Saturday, May 19.
