    Elements Boutique, tucked into the back of Barclay Square, is having a grand re-opening on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. Previously, the store was located in what owner Marjorie Brown called "a closet space" on Cascade Avenue. She'd have to step outside if more than two customers came in to browse. No longer.   • Student to exhibit at Carnegie hall

    Tanner Smith, a Sisters High School student, will have the honor of exhibiting his artwork at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In early January, the Sisters High School art department, headed by art teacher Mike Baynes, submitted several pieces of art to the regional division of the National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition held at Central Oregon Community College.     Eric King and Brynna Murray were married in Portland on March 28, 2009. The groom is the son of Randy and Stephanie King of Sisters and graduated from Sisters High School in 2004. He is a graduate of George Fox University with a degree in business and works in marketing at Anvil Media in Portland. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Stephen and Karen Murray of Spokane, WA.
