    The Sisters High School equestrian team finished the regular season on a high note, with ten riders heading to the state meet. Central Point is the venue for that meet, which takes place May 13-16. Sisters is part of the Central District, made up of 14 schools in a district stretching from Hood River in the north to Lakeview in the south, Pendleton in the east and Sisters in the west.   • Fashion show a hit in Sisters

    The spirit of giving back, great outfits, and the ever supportive Sisters community came together Sunday afternoon for a treat in Sisters Country: a fashion show. The event, organized by Sisters High School senior Emily Rickards, brought 170 visitors to fill the house at the FivePine Conference Center.   • Sisters schools to cut staff, sports

    The Sisters School District is looking at cuts to staff and sports programs to make up a $600,000 shortfall in the 2010-11 school year.
