One property owners’ association in the Sisters-Camp Sherman Rural Fire Protection District has added additional outdoor burning restrictions under its own authority after recent changes in the fire district’s outdoor burning standards. The Crossroads Property Owners Association’s Board of Directors unanimously approved tightening outdoor burning restrictions at a special board meeting held in late April. Several hundred parents, friends and students enjoyed the annual spaghetti feed and bingo extravaganza supporting Black Butte School (BBS) on Saturday evening, May 13. It being Mother’s Day weekend, and with fine spring weather, the crowd was swollen with relatives from far and wide.
