A tour of the B&B Complex Fire was held on August 25. Over 65 people spent the entire day looking at the impact of the fire on both thinned and unthinned forests from where it started to where it burned the hottest. Zachary Lusby didn’t want toys and games for his ninth birthday. He wanted to save the whales and tigers. “I wanted to make sure the whales and tigers are safe and that they don’t get extinct,” he said. A school employee has just painted the inside of the Sisters High School library, on her own time. Jade Schneringer, Media Manager at the high school, said the idea came from Principal Bob Macauley. “Bob asked me what I wanted to create.
