    Gravity was everyone's best friend this weekend in the inaugural Sisters Mountain Rally, an All-American soap box derby event at the Sisters Eagle Airport. The event was sanctioned by the Salem Soap Box Derby Association.     Sara Marcus, 20, of Sisters, was selected as 2013's Miss Northwest Professional Rodeo Association (NPRA) during the 2012 NPRA Finals held in Prineville September 21-22.     The boys soccer team celebrated a huge 2-0 victory at Cottage Grove on Thursday, September 27. It had been eight long years since the Outlaws had won a soccer game at Cottage Grove, and the victory was sweet. Sisters scored their first goal of the game at the 35-minute mark.     The Latin band Chiringa will perform at Brand 33 the night of the Wolftree Challenge Awards Dinner and Auction Saturday, October 6. Shireen Amini, a local singer-songwriter, put the band together in May of 2011 when asked to perform for a Cinco de Mayo festival in Bend.     Sisters posted a 3-0 shut-out over Cottage Grove at home on Thursday, September 27, and two days earlier suffered a 1-0 loss to the Tigers at Junction City.
