Melissa Jane April and Christopher Jeffries Klug were joined together in marriage on September 16 in Sisters. Missy, the daughter of Ray and Pat April, was raised in Sisters. Chris, the son of Warren and Kathy Klug, grew up in Bend. Jake Simmons and Lindsey Williams will be married November 24 in the Manti Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jake is the son of Clyde and Laura Simmons of Sisters and graduated from Sisters High School in 2001. Sheriff's deputies arrested a 55-year-old Crooked River Ranch woman on Wednesday, September 27, after she allegedly tore through town at high speed and struggled with deputies who tried to subdue her. According to Deschutes County Sheriff's Office reports, the woman pulled up to the Cloverdale Fire Station on Cloverdale Road on Wednesday afternoon honking her horn and making irrational statements and demands.
