    In what has become nearly a weekly pattern, Sisters School District superintendent Curtiss Scholl shared a letter with the school community last week regarding what the rising infection rate in Deschutes County means to students and families.     Jennifer and Kelly Brock have recently taken the reins as new owners of Martolli’s of Sisters Authentic Hand-Tossed Pizza. Martolli’s was born when Mark Hedford and Brad Martell opened their doors in Sisters offering pizza by the slice in 2002.     Three Sisters Floral has a new location at 243 N. Elm in Sisters — formerly The Porch restaurant. This unique flower shop owned by Ruth Raizin had been located on Main Avenue. Raizin told The Nugget, “Our move was precipitated by sale of the building we were in. She was an instrumental contributor to the new community website, Sisters Country Community Connects, as a project coordinator and designer of the logo and brand of the site (see related story).     The Sisters Folk Festival Winter JAM (Journey/Adventure/Music) Auction and Fundraiser wrapped up last Saturday with a raffle for an Ed Gerhard Signature model Breedlove guitar and an M. David mandolin. David Cautley was the lucky winner of the guitar, and Bonita Whitler took home the hand-crafted mandolin.
