Spirit of the season… Black Butte School’s Annual Winter Performance was presented to a packed house at Camp Sherman Community Hall on Thursday, December 12. The festivities have been a Camp Sherman tradition for many decades. Black Butte School staff and families put in hours of work and rehearsal to learn songs and plays, and to make costumes and props, in a total team effort with many helping hands necessary to pull it all off. Back home… Sisters’ iconic stallion statue is back in his home along Cascade Avenue. The sculpture was damaged in a vehicle accident on October 30. No citations were issued in the accident. Repairs are estimated around $10,000 and will be covered by insurance. Photo courtesy Paul Bertagna
