A Sisters woman died early Saturday morning after quickly consuming a large amount of hard liquor.
Sisters Police and Deschutes County deputies responded to Veronica "Vonnie" Marie Danna's home in Crossroads shortly after midnight on February 24 after a 911 call reported a woman unconscious and not breathing.
Danna, age 30, was deceased at the scene.
According to police reports, witnesses said that Danna "guzzled" nearly a half-gallon of vodka "on a dare" in about 10 minutes.
An investigation by the Deschutes County Sheriff's Department continues.
