A Redmond woman was arrested by Sisters police Friday, August 30, on charges that she wrote 15 bad checks to 11 Sisters businesses over rodeo weekend in June.

The arrest closed a 2-1/2-month investigation by the Sisters Police Department.

Police arrested Gail Marie Raczkowski, 42, for first degree theft and on 15 counts of negotiating bad checks. According to police, Raczkowski wrote checks in Sisters June 7-9 totaling $1,220.17.
