COCC scholarships available

Applications for Central Oregon Community College Foundation 1997-98 scholarships are now available.

Applications must returned to the COCC Student Financial Aid Office by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 28. More than 100 scholarships, ranging from $150 to $1,600, are available.

To be eligible, applicants must be permanent residents of Central Oregon, be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits, have a 2.0 or higher grade-point average and demonstrate financial need. Some scholarships may require additional criteria such as a specific major, location of home or high school, or club affiliation.

Scholarship applications and information are available through the COCC Student Financial Aid Office, the COCC Community Educational Centers throughout the college district and in the area high school counseling centers.
