A Springfield woman was jailed the night of Sunday, March 16, after she allegedly threatened a man in the parking lot of the Gallery Restaurant and then allegedly rammed his motor home with her car as the man drove away down Cascade Avenue.
Sisters police placed Lynette Keyse, 37, under arrest at the Deschutes County Jail after sheriff's deputies picked her up in Redmond.
According to police reports, an officer contacted the victim at about 7:30 p.m. after he called 911 from Sisters Pumphouse.
In his statements to police, the man said he had met two women in the bar at the restaurant. He said they were extremely intoxicated and asked him if he wanted to go to their condominium.
When the man left, Keyse allegedly followed him out into the parking lot and accused him of kidnapping her friend. The man said he assured Keyse that her friend was still in the bar.
According the man's statements to police, Keyse then went to her car and took out an object that looked like a handgun and pointed it at the man, who got in his motor home and left.
The man reported that he was rear-ended as he drove east down Casade Avenue and saw Keyse in her car behind him.
The man pulled in to Sisters Pumphouse and dialed 911. Keyse allegedly followed him and confronted him again before driving away.
Sisters police notified dispatch to have officers keep an eye out for Keyse, who was picked up by sheriff's deputies at the Big O restarurant in Redmond after Oregon State Police contacted her in an unrelated matter.
When she was taken into jail, corrections officers allegedly found an electronic "stun gun" in her purse.
In her statements to police, Keyse allegedly acknowledged threatening the man twice, but she denied pointing a gun or electronic stun device at him.
Keyse was taken into custody on charges of menacing, first degree attempted assault, driving under the influence of intoxicants, felony driving-while-suspended, hit and run and using an invalid license.
