Candidates apply for council seat

The Sisters City Council will decide Thursday, December 10, who will fill the empty seat left after the recall of

Gordon Petrie.

As of Monday, November 30, three Sisters residents - Paul Bennett, Dave Elliott and Wayne Kimball - had submitted letters of interest to the city. The deadline for letters is Thursday, December 3.

According to city administrator Barbara Warren, each councilor will be polled as to their preferred candidate at the December 10 meeting. The winning candidate will serve through 2001.
