Outlaws fall to The Dalles Indians

The Sisters Outlaw basketball team lost on the road to The Dalles on Tuesday, December 7. The Outlaws, seeking their first victory of the year, fell 78-71 to the Indians.

Josh Reznick was Sisters leading scorer with 21 points and Kyle Kinney scored 17 points. Sisters was leading heading into the fourth quarter with a 56-54 margin, but the Indians caught up.

Sisters had trouble at the free throw line and it cost them the game. The Indians shot 37 free throws to the Outlaws' 10.

Ony Schneibel's three pointer with 13 seconds remaining cut the Indians lead to three, but the Outlaws were unable to claw any closer.

"We had good defensive execution but our free throws must become more accurate," said coach Rand Runco.

Sisters went to the slaughter at Philomath on Saturday December 11, going down 44-80.

"They broke us in the second quarter and we neve recovered," Runco said.

Josh Reznick scored a team high 17 points and Evan Owens scored nine.
