Sisters sheriff's calls...

• Deputies arrested a Sisters man after he allegedly assaulted his 16-year-old daughter. According to sheriff's office reports, the girl had a swollen left eye that was showing signs of bruising.

• Someone kicked in the door of a vacation home in Sisters, but nothing appeared to have been taken.

• Deputies took a Chi- co, California, woman to St. Charles Medical Center on a police officer's men- tal hold after receiving re- ports that she was behaving strangely in Sisters.

• Someone broke into a vehicle and stole a snub-nosed .38 revolver.

• Deputies arrested a Sisters man after they stopped by his house to check on the welfare of his dogs. He had violated his probation by drinking

• A woman called a taxi to give her a ride away from a drunk friend's house. When the taxi driver had a hard time finding the residence, she dialed 9-1-1 so a deputy could help the taxi driver out.

• An elementary school student was cited for harassment and released to the custody of his parents.

• Someone broke into a vacation home and "hung out" for awhile, apparently drinking. The house was in a state of mild disarray when deputies arrived and someone may have stolen some compact discs.
