Sisters Sheriff's calls

  • A Sisters man was arrested after showing up at his sometime girlfriend's house at 2 a.m., allegedly drunk and in a very bad mood.

He allegedly accused the woman of having a man in the house, came in and lay down on the floor. When the woman tried to get him up and out, the man allegedly started fighting her, leaving red marks on her chest and throat.

The man did leave the house, but bent an awning post and broke a window before taking off. Deputies located him passed out in his car and arrested him for fourth degree assault and criminal trespass.

  • A deputy picked up a Texas man after the man gave false information during a traffic stop. Turns out the man was wanted for reckless endangering and possession of a controlled substance.
  • There were several minor accidents due to icy road conditions last week.
  • A local juvenile is in trouble after allegedly making some 100 threatening and hang-up calls to a Sisters area resident.
  • A man's daughter threw his cell phone in the fireplace.
