Sisters Sheriff's calls

• Deputies arrested a Sisters man who put a knot on his girlfriend's head in an argument. The argument was allegedly over his ungallant behavior in leaving her at a bar and going home.

  Seems the fellow was feeling down about the death of racer Dale Earnhardt.

  The man also allegedly assaulted a friend of the girlfriend when she tried to intervene.

• A youth at a boys' home near Sisters got enraged over teasing and name calling by other boys, broke a window and climbed on the roof, threatening to jump off.

  Deputies talked him down and he agreed to go to the hospital for an evaluation.

• A juvenile was taken into custody after a fourth degree assault on members of his foster family. A new foster home is being sought.
