Award-winning outdoor journalist Wayne van Zwoll will headline the Second Annual Sisters Sportsman Banquet.
The event is set for Saturday, April 7, from 4 to 8:30 p.m.
This year's event will include several educational sessions, displays, trophies, and many door prizes.
Immediately following a New York steak dinner catered by Tumalo Feed Company, van Zwoll will speak on trophy hunting.
The event will be held at Sisters Community Church, 15220 McKenzie Hwy. (next to Sisters High School). Space is limited to 300 people, 18 years or older. Last year's event sold out.
Tickets are only $20, which includes dinner, and may be purchased at Lutton's Ace Hardware or Mountain Man Trading Post & Gallery.
Wayne van Zwoll lives in central Washington state with his wife Alice. His work has appeared in more than two dozen magazines, including Sports Afield, Outdoor Life and Field & Stream.
He has published five books and several hundred articles on firearms and big game hunting.
Once a contract photographer for the U.S. Forest Service, he has guided big game hunters in Utah and Wyoming, served as one of the first field directors for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and become a professional member of the Boone and Crockett Club.
