Sisters Folk Festival offers new ticket deal

The Sisters Folk Festival is offering a special ticket package for several performances during the September 7-9 weekend.

The Saturday night, September 8, performance featuring Ian Tyson and Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer is sold out. However, tickets remain available for the Friday evening performance featuring contemporary folk artist Patty Larkin and Texas songwriter Slaid Cleaves and for Saturday and Sunday afternoon performances.

A special $25 ticket package offers admission to the Friday night performance and both afternoon performances. Individual tickets are also available for each performance; Friday night tickets are $15; Saturday afternoon, $10; Sunday afternoon, $10.

The special package represents a $10 savings.

"All-events passes and tickets for Saturday night sold out early," said festival board member Jim Cornelius. "We wanted to offer an economical way for people who missed out on all-events passes to catch the rest of the festival. We've got some great blues and bluegrass featured on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. At $25 for about 10 hours of music, the package is a real good deal."

Tickets are available at Central Oregon Music in Bend; Swing Shift Guitars in Redmond; Paulina Springs Book Company in Sisters or by phone at 541-549-4979.
