Sisters Sheriff's calls

  • A woman called 911 after a domestic argument with her boyfriend and her son. She complained that her family doesn't love her and requested transport to the hospital.

    That's not where she went.

Dispatch confirmed an outstanding warrant for drunk driving and criminal mischief and she was arrested and taken to jail.

  • A family got their vehicle stuck in the snow while Christmas tree hunting. A deputy responded and got them unstuck -- but his car got stuck in turn. The deputy summoned yet another unit to come to the rescue.

  • A man complained that he was nearly hit by a fire vehicle while walking near the fire hall. He told fire officials but didn't like the response he received.

A deputy told him to be careful while walking around the fire hall, as vehicles often leave there on emergencies. We are not certain whether the man was happy with that response either.

  • A man complained that for the past year-and-a-half, his neighbor has been driving by his house yelling profanities at him. The man did not know why.

A deputy investigated and found out that the neighbor was sick of the man's roaming dogs and was not too happy that the man drove a snowmobile on his (the neighbor's) property one time.

The deputy advised the man with the sensitive ears to control his dogs and to work out this sad contention with his neighbor.
