Taxpayers can help Habitat for Humanity

Taxpayers can chose to contribute to Habitat for Humanity through the Oregon State Tax Check-off Program.

This program allows taxpayers to designate some or all of their Oregon state refund to a listed non-profit when they file their returns. Habitat for Humanity is NOT listed on the state tax form, but is in the booklet as an option.

Donors need to put the number "1" on line 60 of Form 40 or line 32 on the Short Form to have this contribution designated to Habitat for Humanity of Oregon. The Tax Check-off contributions will then be distributed to the affiliates based on 2002 building permits.
