Sisters man indicted on sex abuse charges

Terry Lynn Taylor of Sisters has been indicted on sex abuse charges by a Deschutes County Grand Jury.

Taylor turned himself in to authorities on Tuesday, February 19, and was released on $50,000 bail.

The indictment lists nine felony counts of first and second degree sexual abuse; six misdemeanor counts of furnishing obscene materials to minors; and 22 misdemeanor counts of third degree sexual abuse.

All 37 counts involve alleged acts involving Taylor's minor step-children. Taylor's release agreement stipulates no contact with the alleged victims.

Taylor's next scheduled court appearance is set for April 1.
