- "Boy," the dog that ran away from a fatal accident near Black Butte Ranch March 16, was found on a resident's deck. The dog was reunited with his family.
- A Sisters man was arrested for drunk driving in the wake of a citizen citation.
- A Sisters man attempted suicide by turning on his unlit propane stove in his camp trailer and going to sleep. He was taken to the hospital for evaluation and observation.
- A couple of vehicles got stuck in the snow trying to push spring along on the McKenzie Highway.
- A Sisters woman was cited after she blew a stop sign and crashed into an oncoming car. Nobody got hurt.
- No one was injured in a similar wreck, where a Sisters woman failed to yield to an oncoming car and smacked into it.
- A woman reported her dogs missing. The good news was that they were found. The bad news was that they were found chasing horses at a local ranch.
The miscreants got off with a stern warning.
- A Sisters man got his car impounded after a traffic stop. Seems his license had been expired for five months.
- A local resident spotted two people in a vehicle stopping and rummaging through people's mailboxes.
- A man caught a roving black lab in a live dog trap. When a deputy arrived, the dog escaped the trap. However, the critter ran straight home. The deputy followed and cited the owner for dog at large.
- A teen reported being assaulted by another teen at a party in the desert east of Sisters.
- A restauranteur reported a suspicious subject lurking around. Deputies located a Sisters man, drunk and on foot, wearing camouflage clothing and carrying black leather gloves. Hmmm....
- A man reported losing his wedding ring in the Sisters business district.
- A woman tried to pass two fertilizer trucks and was run off the road when they swung wide to turn into a field. Now that really stinks...
- A Sisters teen got into a heated verbal dispute with his parents when they found marijuana on him. The youth was cited into the JET diversion program.
- A man and a woman are having an ongoing dispute over money and property. They are breaking up over accusations that the man had an affair with his ex-wife.
- A man reported an ongoing dispute with his homeowners' association over water.
- A nine-year-old suffered minor injuries when he ran into the street and into the path of an oncoming car.
- Deputies had the unpleasant task of informing a Sisters woman that her stepson had been shot in the head in a Bend apartment.
- A Sisters couple received a pair of mysterious phone calls from a man who claimed to be with the LAPD. When the receiver challenged the man about his veracity, the caller copped out and claimed he was a private investigator. Well, sure. The receiver hung up.
