Sisters Gallery Walk will be held Friday

Art fans in Sisters can enjoy the Sisters Gallery Walk scheduled for Friday, August 16, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The event is free to the public. The Gallery Walk will include five galleries, each hosting a special artist feature.

The event is sponsored by SistersGalleries.Com, an internet resource for Sisters area artists.

Participating Sisters galleries are:

  • Canyon Creek Pottery, 310 N. Cedar Street; featuring raku by Michael and Michele Gwinup.
  • Clearwater Gallery, 391 Cascade Ave .; featuring Northwest wildlife and angling art.
  • High Desert Gallery in The Place on Elm Street and W. Main Avenue; featuring watercolors and limited edition prints by international equine artist Beatrice Bulteau.
  • Sisters Gallery & Frame Shop, 252 W. Hood Ave .; featuring photographs by Northwest artist Gary Albertson.
  • Soda Creek Gallery, 183 E. Hood Ave .; featuring fine wood artisan Dayton Lamphear.
