Sisters sheriff's calls A couple "gassed and dashed" in a Datsun 4x4 truck. Cheap date.

  • Someone stole 19 pieces of dance floor from the Comfort Inn, where the Sisters Jazz festival had a venue. The theft occurred in August. No dancers were missing.

  • A woman was arrested for drunk driving after she wrecked her car on a forest road south of Sisters. She reportedly recorded a blood-alcohol count of .23 percent -- nearly three times the legal limit.
