Community invited to homecoming events

Students at Sisters High School have invited the community to come and be a part of their homecoming events on Thursday, October 10.

The festivities will kick off with a parade at 5 p.m., beginning at Sisters Video.

The parade will travel down Hood Avenue, cross over to McKenzie Highway and end at Sisters High School. A limited supply of free drink tickets will be handed out at the parade and can be redeemed at the bonfire, which will immediately follow the football game.

The Outlaws football team will host the Mollala Indians at 7 p.m.

After the game everyone is invited to head over to the bonfire, which will be held in the student parking lot. The event will feature live music by Not All Related.

Raffle tickets for two new portable CD players may be purchased at the parade and during the football game.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. All proceeds will go to benefit the SHS Alumni Scholarship Fund.

One raffle winner will be announced at the game and the other at the bonfire. The winner must be present.
