To the Editor:

I would like to reply to your editorial in the October 23 paper. It stated that the ideas and accomplishments of the Sisters-Camp Sherman Fire District were betrayed.

I hope that is not how the citizens of the area feel.

Every time I drive by the station or see one of the trucks in action or read the thank you's in the paper from people who had wonderful care or service I feel proud. Not once did I think of Greg Brown.

He betrayed himself and took something that did not belong to him, but the fire district personnel presented and represented themselves in all their activities and services. I am sure they serve the people of the area with their heads held high.
