Bill Anthony, Sisters District Ranger, has been selected by the Community Action Team of Sisters (CATS) to chair its board for the coming year.
Sisters merchant Bob Grooney, outgoing chairman, will continue as liaison with the Sisters Chamber of Commerce on economic development.
Kathy Deggendorfer will continue as vice chair.
Charles Warren will continue as secretary as well as representing seniors and Deb Kollodge, past mayor of Sisters, has rejoined the board as treasurer.
Additional directors include: Bryn Hazell, encouraging community awareness; Jerry Norquist, planning and developing a trail system throughout Sisters.
Tom Coffield focuses on recreational and youth issues; Peggy Dorsett provides consulting for mentoring programs; Bill Willitts continues as a collaborator on affordable housing and as a representative to the Central Oregon Partnership.
Bill Reed acts as liaison for the school district with a focus on early childhood development; and Emil Smith assists with forums on topics pertinent to the community.
