Hundreds turn out for egg hunt

Hundreds of children from all over the Pacific Northwest turned out to search for some 4,000 Easter eggs at the Sisters-Camp Sherman Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Association's annual Easter Egg Hunt at Creekside City Park.

The hunt kicked off at 1 p.m. and was over within minutes as the children scooped up the plastic eggs.

Prize egg winners:

Infant to Two Years -- Blake Ostrom, Redmond; Erin Crawford, Everett, WA.; Rory Corrigan, Lake Oswego; Mikayla Sadler, Sisters.

Three to Five Years -- Gabrielle Rowe, Terrebonne; Jessica Birbari, Yelm, Washington; Breann Crider, Redmond; Ashley Adams, Sisters.

Six to Eight Years -- Declan Siewert, Redmond; Garrett Trahern, Sisters; Kaylyn Scott, Tumalo; Zack Brown, Redmond.

Nine to 11 Years -- Parker Bennett, Sisters; Canyon Bork, Sisters; Maria Cameron, Portland; Zoe Machetti, Bend.

Four children found prize emu eggs: Kammi Johnson, two, Sisters; Lexi Cole, four, Bend; Walker Crafton, seven, Redmond; Anthony Villa-Gomez, 11, Sisters.
