Sisters sheriff's calls

  • A 38-year-old Redmond woman was killed last week in Camp Sherman (Jefferson County Sheriff's Office jurisdiction) when she lost control of her ATV and hit a tree.

  • A man reported the forgery of one of his checks.|

  • Someone chucked a rock thorough the window of the SOAR building.

  • Several people were cited for trespassing after they were caught on the roof of a Sisters business. They said they were just looking out over the town.

    Sheriff's K-9 "Ike" frowned on the activity and flushed them out.

Black Butte Ranch Police:

  • A resident reported that steel deer in his yard were tampered with. Police have no suspects (not even an iron cougar).
  • A police officer assisted a citizen whose dog got stuck under a back deck. The officer pulled side boards off the side of the deck to free the animal.
