Sisters sheriff's calls

  • A man allegedly pistol-whipped another man in the face during an altercation in the stands at a semi-pro football game at Sisters High School.

    Both the alleged victim and the suspect had left the scene when deputies arrived.

  • A deputy found a switchblade and a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop. The suspect was cited.

  • A woman allegedly smacked a couple of cars with a bat. It had something to do with a break-up. No one wanted to file charges.

  • Several youths were caught swimming in the Tollgate pool after hours. They had apparently climbed the fence to get in and damaged the pool cover. The suspects were cited for criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

    Black Butte Ranch Police

  • An officer came upon a crash between two vehicles and a cow elk. He turned the incident over to sheriff's deputies.

  • An officer assisted emergency personnel with a man having a heart attack while working in the forest behind the Ranch.

  • The mother of a driver requested assistance in locating her son whose vehicle was stuck off of spur road 1410 at the 800 road. An officer took her to her son and assisted in getting his vehicle out.

  • An officer contacted a driver who stated that she was westbound on Highway 20 when a small herd of deer crossed in front of her. One of the deer appeared to try to jump over her vehicle and hit the windshield, knocking her inside rearview mirror off. No other damage reported and there were no injuries.

    The deer made its way into the brush after lying on the road for a few minutes.
