Sisters sheriff's calls

  • Someone damaged a car parked on E. Cascade, possibly using large rocks.
  • Another car was vandalized on St. Helens Street.
  • A man turned in a $5 bill that had a note on it indicating something about a rape in Redmond.

    Deputies turned the bill over to Redmond police for investigation.

  • Three vehicles were involved in a rear-end collision at the junction of Highway 20/126 at the east end of Sisters.
  • A deputy arrested a Hillsboro man for drunk driving.
  • A driver ran off Fryrear Road, hit a tree and left the scene.

    He was located later, uninjured.

  • A Squaw Creek Irrigation District employee was arrested for stealing more than $960 while working as a bookkeeper.

    Black Butte Ranch Police

  • Police secured the area while BBR firefighters fought a house fire that burned eaves and roof on a residence.

    The fire likely started from an outside light.

  • A citizen turned in a wedding band set lost on the Ranch.
  • A driver reported vandalism to her car.
